I think the real explanation is simpler: the tools output nuance, and the people expect binaries. Every interaction produces cognitive friction. Eventually, people decide it's faster to just do the work themselves — because in a binary frame, it is.
The solution isn't better tools. It's better thinking. Better frameworks for holding complexity. Better practice at convergent synthesis. Better architecture for turning nuanced analysis into clear decisions.
